Default rods... pistons... all?

If one were to want to fortify the bottom end, it is worth it to rods, pistons and sleeving/posting only? Would this all be in vain if they didn't shell out for a forged crank?

Not at all. I believe everyone on here uses the oem crank. People ususally micropolish and balance the crank but thats about the extent of it. have it sleeved with some new pistons/rods/bearings and you'll be all set.

from experience, we have been successful with stock Honda cranks even in race applications. from 500hp street cars to 700hp race cars, stock cranks are proven.

the only time we really knife or do anything to the crank if its a custom stroker motor or in all motor applications when we're lightening the crank

do it all at one time, and save some money, instead or doing it two or three times
