Default RODS OR NOT for 350whp

Well I had just got my car dyno tuned which is a 94 ej with gsr with basic 57 trim turbo kit thrown together , head studs dsm injectors. Well in a nutshell i had just go my car dyno tuned partially but we stopped due to my plugs fouling out so i told me freind he could take it for a ride. Well when he came back i had smoke comming out of the valve cover he comes back to and then i go home and find out out that my compression is 200 200 200 70 so i cracked some ring lands. Now since this is partially my fualt he agreed to go half anf half on some wiesco`s with me( i forgot to mention that the timign was at a crazy 25 final advance, which i later changed back to .75 retard per lb to start timing on street)

SO to the point, should I get some eagle rods?? I really believe in OEM parts, also as I have searched on it and when the are magnafluxed and shotpeened they can handle over 450hp, now realistically I am looking for 300-350whp daily driving and track driving. No I want this setup to last and I do have acces to some really good tuners and I do have knowledge my self, minus a dyno in my garage. I really dont want to go crazy in this build, just simple rebuild wiesco 8.9:1 pistons, acl bearings, bored .010 over and align honed with arp hardware thats it besides minor things like polished journals.

The rods will be fine as long as the tune is good and you don't beat the **** on it everytime. BUT why you want to use forge piston with stock rods? If you going to replace piston might as well do rods at the same time too. Rather be safe then sorry.
