Default Rochester, NY area

Anyone know of any tuner shops near Rochester, NY? I take it I shouldn't drive my car very far if I haven't had it tuned yet? Anything important I need to know before I go to one or do I just talk to the people from there and find out what they recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I want to get her back on the road

make sure you have no leaks fluids or boost, no CELs either. Get a basemap from someone reliable. Dont show up to the tuner needing to "fix" anything.

In our area I suggest innovative tuning, xenochron or gruuvy tune but i 'heard' he is out of the game now

Also depends on your EMS

Another suggestion would be Synapse Motorsports in the Albany area. From what I know, Innovative in Buffalo does not have their new dyno in yet.

Okay, thanks.

By basemap do you mean have it chipped or like buying a used ecu that's already chipped for boost until I can get it tuned myself? Or even Hondata s200, I've seen a couple for like $250 shipped with boost option...should I show up with one of those?

i sent the following to you as an IM on here:

hey. i saw this thread that you started:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothre...18583
have you found a tuner yet? i'm in rochester for a short time and i have all of my tuning tools with me, and can tune your car for you while im here.
i have references available if you'd like. im from northern CT, and came up here for thanksgiving, and to do a few other tunes while im here, hence why i have all my equipment with me.
i can do crome with chipped ecu's, or smanager with hondata s300.
if you dont have a chipped ecu already, i also have chip kits and tools needed to install it with me, so i can even chip your ecu if needed
let me know if you're interested. my email is crluver123@yahoo.com or you can IM me on aim at crluver123
