what should my ring gap be if I plan on running 25-30lbs of boost and making 500 to 600 hp?

 

what pistons are you using?

if using CP I'd go with:
0.019 or 0.018

i believe boosted hybrid is using 0.019" on the 500whp motor.

 

I went with .019" top, .021" bottom. But you might want to go a little bigger if your seriously shooting for 600hp.

what bore size you guys talking about because i went with .016" and .014" bottom on cp 81.50 mm.

They are CP 84mm 9:1 pistons. So probably like 0.019 - 0.021.

 

84mm bore CP pistons here.
