Default Rev Hard or/vs Drag

i know has been discussed before but i was looking at some of the old thread back from '03 and i was wondering your input on the set ups now, back then it seemed to be all about rev hard when they were giving a presicion turbo with the kit, but i dont believe they give that turbo anymore with the kit, which turbo do they include in the kit now? I have read the the drag kit has some problems like the waste gate and manifold problems, and that rev hard as a better manifold and better waste gate..i believe they use a tial waste gate, but i'm still wondering wat kind of turbo rev hard uses. it just says its a rev hard turbo t3/t4 but doesn't say the trim on it, it does say its like a turbonetics or something like that, i know the drag kit comes with a turbonetics turbo.
and was also wondering wat trim the 2 kits are..so your info would greatly appreciated...i know some ppl with say build my own also..your guys info would be great also.

im not sure what revhard uses...but some dealers you can just pay them like 70-100 extra to upgrade to precision...if i had a choice between rev and drag i would go with a rev...

but i put my turbo kit together....equal out about 3k nice setup too
precision sc61 $670
neukin manifold $700
3"downpipe $350
greddy type 24 fmic $300 (used)
revhard piping/greddy type s bov $300 (used)
tial w/g $205

hope that helped...

both are good kits, i would get whatever you can find the best deal on. They also both work really well when you upgrade the turbo to an sc61 or something similar.

i just bought the drag a little while ago, im satified for now, i ordered it from http://www.dragkits.com, 2575 shipped, my choice of trim, bov upgraded to tial wastegate, walbro 255 and it was all polished piping, turbo, and intercooler..

I just got tuned by jeff evans with the kit and made 248 hp 172tq on a 7.5psi wastegate spring

DRAG OR REVHARD?
This is not the place to find out what turbo kit is better. There is more than enough threads on this.

I didn't make u out to be a noob. just someone who can't read the rules. Everyone is going to give there biased opinion for what they have/want. both kits are upgradable. just depends on what parts YOU want.

My opinion is to go custom. Buy the parts you want.

I have some friends running the Drag Turbo kit with the Tial wastegate upgrade . there cars are very impresive and very very fast , here some results at the quarter mile ..

All cars were on drag radials when they made the times

Friend #1 = 96 JDM integra typeR with eagle rods, JE pistons 9.0 compression ,
running 8 psi boost with Drag turbo kit . Best run at 1/4 mile = 12.4

Friend #2 = 97 JDM integra typeR with eagle rods, JE pistons 9.0 compression , running 14 psi boost with drag turbo kit , tuned by Apexi power FC . Best run at the 1/4 mile = 11.5 @ 120 MPH !!!!!!!!

Friend #3 = 98 spec JDM integra typeR with eagle rods , JE pistons 9.0 compression , running 12 psi boost with drag turbo kit , tuned by Apexi power FC . best run at the 1/4 mile = 11.9

Friend #4 = EG4 Civic with JDM B18C typeR engine with DART block , eagle rods , JE pistons 9.0 compression , running 19 psi boost with drag turbo kit , tuned by Autronic . no quarter mile times yet but I went in this car and it`s very very impresive . Very FAST

Hope mine gets boosted soon

hmm.. I talked to some guy at a shop yesterday and he told me theyre both pretty crappy.. and he recomended an inline pro turbo kit.. he said they use all the best parts, usually put out more power, and are way more reliable and dont break as often..
Just check them out... theyre like 3500 or so.

i like my revhard better than i did my drag. i also liked my blox manifold better. imo the drag is a big pos... it works... but it's a pos.
