Default Rev Hard Question

They claim 14whp for every pund of boost.

I dyno'd 133 stock b16a.

I plan on running 11psi.
11 x 14 = 155whp + 133whp = 288whp.

Right?

I figured only 250whp out of 11psi?

I honestly think you will get closer to 300whp at 11psi. BTW, ever get the pic of that NUTEC turbo? I have a feeling its actually a Precision turbo.

Me kit should be here soon.

I promise you will be the first one to see the pics art...

If I get close to 300. I think I'll back it down a few psi...

I don't really want more then 280 on the stock motor.

with 10.2:1 and 11 psi, I would expect at least 275 out of your setup, if not a little more. Good luck on dyno day.

I don't see how they can claim 14 hp for every pound of boost. There are way to many variables to put a number on it like that. Either way though, your car should make alot of power at 11psi!

I don't know either. Just repeating what i've read.

Beware of other kit manufacturers claiming 100 horsepower gain (to the wheels x15%=115mhp) with their bolt on kits. Any turbo expert can tell you that it would take e VERY efficient turbo to get 7x14hp=100. This means their turbo is getting close to 15hp for every psi of boost. We'll tell you up front that we can't beat that if it's true. And we'll also tell you upfront that those intercoolers and turbos they have will not support 300max.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY MAGAZINES WILL NOT DO A TURBO KIT OR MANIFOLD CHALLENGE...THEY MIGHT LOSE ADVERTISING TO WHO EVER SELLS NON-REV HARD KITS.

11 psi with a t3/t04e on a high compression motor might not be such a good idea

get it tuned correctly is all i can say

No Problem...

If st00pid can run 20psi on a LS motor w/pump gas. Then I feel confident.

Plus I ran 11 - 13psi for over a year with the JRSC.

I think youll be fine AND make good power. 14whp per psi may be a good guess but that # is gonna change as ur turbo goes in and out of efficiency.

11psi w/ 10.2:1 = 17.8 effective compression ratio.
14psi w/ 9.2:1 = 17.9 effective compression ratio.

Stock Engine is good for 300whp with a good tune...

How much boost run doesn't matter. It's how much power the motor makes that's important.

We didn't say we make this power. That's why we said BEWARE of others claiming this kind of figures. Then again you might want to dyno your car at that place in Alhambra. You might get 20hp per psi. Good Luck and let us know how it went. By the way anyone interested in turbocharging their 2002-up RSX and CIVIC's call us cause where taking orders for special introductory price. Finally, the fueling all solved.

Partially, i can make 20 hp and blow my motor from too much boost. However adding a bigger exhaust will add hp but will not add much load onto the engine.
