reuse head gasket

reuse head gasket am putting a new head on i only had the gasket on for about 3 weeks can i reuse and just use coper spray or i cant reuse it

i would say not to reuse it, but others may say diffrent

why go thru the trouble of pulling the head and putting it back on if the gasket doesnt seal right?

I don't think it's worth reusing it even if it's in good condition. You have the OEM head gasket? It's pretty cheap so I would replace it.

I have friends that have reused headgaskets and it actually didnt cause any problems. However, personally I would never reuse one.

I agree.. I know lots of people that have re-used head gaskets without problems... but their is no way in hell i would ever re-use one.. They are not that expensive.

its not reccommend to use the stock factory gasket more than once. Those 65 dollars save you in the long run jsut get a new one.
