interested as well. I think mine just gave out today.

How did you knows your died? I was tuning with Crome in my car and the AF very everywhere cause of the basemap I created.....then all it said was LEAN in boost. I fucked around and finally just used my good ol Uberdata bin and still the same. Any time I get into boost now it says LEAN...which for it to say LEAN while in boost I would have a blown motor already and that's not the case. Just want to know how your gave.....I had mine for 8 months

If you guys need O2 sensor replacements and PLX wont help you out, I can get you replacements @ my work for prolly a lot less than if you go in off the street as a regular customer using my employee discount. I forget the actual p/n but it is for newer VW's.
I priced one when I recieved my PLX and I want to say they were about $50. I couldnt believe how cheap they were!

BTW, I think its supposed to calibrate itself everytime you re-start your car or turn the unit on.

Ill get you guys more info when I go to work on Monday

Go to a Volkswagon dealership and ask for a o2 sensor off any 1.8t engine. So just say a 2001 Jetta 1.8t. They will bring out the exact same sensor you have in your car.

its the VW 7057 sensor, the exact part number is on the sensor itself, you will see VW and a list of numbers with the end numbers being 7057.

or you can just go here:
https://www.1stvwparts.com/partscat.html

part number is: 021-906-262-B
Its a volkswagon part number.

Innovative, PLX, Techedge, Zeitronix all use the exact same sensor which can be purchased from what i linked above.

Or you can go through PLX directly and pay 85 bucks.

Well, just to update. I got the wideband for $38 without shippping from that website above and it works like a charm now. I tried to clean the other one with brake cleaner and water, but to no avail. Thanks again to seen4ever for the great link

which one exatly did you purchase off htat site? there are like 8 of them but they are most likely the same ones, just for different vehicles for some reason. i just didnt know if they had different thread patterns or a different type of sensor all together. so which one did you get exactly.

they are all the same part number and all the same price so I assume that it's the same sensor. I called because I needed 2 day shipping since I gotta tune with it this weekend.

BUMP back from the dead. I just bought a NGK AFX wideband and wanna know if the VW sensor will work.

Anyone know of a cheap sensor that will fit the AFX if not the dub sensor?

damn 3yr old post. Those sensors are not $38 anymore lol. That site is selling them for $77.71 plus shipping. Anyone come across a cheaper site I can bookmark. I paid $70 from a guy that is an inovative dealer but figured I could find the cheaper through VW.

last time i went to vw the price was way up there. I remember them being cheaper before. Now they are way more than what innovate charges for replacements.

haha, i saw this thread and thought, how the hell does mrbsponge not know where to get that sensor. definately not 38 bucks anymore, but they went up over a year ago. 77 bucks still isn't bad when PLX and others have been selling for 80+ for years now.

this won't plug and play with AEM as the AEM has a special calibrated sensor, well atleast the last time I held a UEGO from them, which was 3+years ago. I'd think the NGK would use a NGK sensor, but if its a bosch sensor, its most likely the LSU2.
