Default Removing valve springs?

What type of spring compressor do you guys use to remove your valve springs? I bought a craftsman spring compressor but it's not working. The valves are in the head to deep.
Any idea who has the best prices on gaskets or the whole head set?

Also is it possible to buy one srp piston? Its not custom or anything.

Snap-On makes a part for removing valve springs that will work. You attach a set of brackets and push down on the lever..
