Default Relocation of A/C compressor for 3" downpipe...anyone do this?

OK, this was my idea...

I have a 99 Civic w/ a B16A...I plan on going turbo real real soon, and i wanna keep my A/C (can't live in Houston without it)...well, i also wanna run a 3" downpipe....looking at pics of turbo kits on b-series motors, it seems like there's BARELY enough room to run a downpipe by the A/C compressor, let alone running a 3" one without having a nasty bend right at the turbo exhaust outlet flange...

so i was taking a look at my compressor, and believe it may be possible to slightly move it over and down about 1" or so using a custom bracket adapter and a custom crank pulley...this would allow more room for a 3" downpipe to have a smoother bend from the flange...has anyone done or this? cuz it seems like it'll work...

I don't know anything about relocating the compressor cause I just ripped mine out. Of course I live in Alaska so i really don't need the a/c. I have the same car as you and I don't think my t3/t4 would have fit if I didn't take out the a/c. It's really tight in there and I had to replace my radiator fan just to hook up an intake pipe. Good luck

get a 2.5" to 3" DP. It flares after it clears the AC. I think you idea of a custom bracket and crank pulley is cost prohibitive. You could try it though...
