rebuilt ebay heads?
so i am working on my never ending project of a turbo engine build.
I went to install my zex cam in my used z6 head and saw that my cam journals are junk (i suspect overheating)
since there are no bearing for our cams can a machine shop correct this?
I saw these head listings on ebay. they seem like a good deal…
head one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...0wt_0
head two http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...0wt_0
looking for options to complete my boost build.
thanks.

I've seen those too, i have heard of people machining there head and having bearings inserted in, not sure how safe it is, might as well get a new head
i dunno about the ebay ones though, i personaly would want a local machine shop to do mine...
