Random misfires with AEM EMS?
Dirty cam/crank signals will cause this. Erratic sensor readings will also cause it. The AEM EMS is very sensative to these inputs. Most of the time bad grounds cause it or bad wiring. Sometimes its interference.
How do u know its ems related? Have u changed the usual things like distributor cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter? Could also be dirty/clogged injectors.
I'm testing the EMS on an electronics bench, before installing it in the car, and I'm seeing something funny with the ignition outputs. (I design electronic circuits for a living)
How about theh AEM frying ignitors? Any reports of frying ignitors?
