Random Flashing CEL at idle = ??
Well tonight I removed my restrictive upper charge pipe (2.5 mandrel bend with stock dsm bov and pipe) was a major restriction. And put on my new upper 2.5 pipe with my new TurboXS RFL.
Love it. But anyway put my IAT sensor in the grommet and back in, and everythings hooked up and running AOK. But I noticed about 3 times tonight (drove around for about 4 hours) that a CEL would come on and stay steady for about 5 seconds, then flash for a number of times, go solid, then repeat with the flashing. So everytime I pull over reset the ECU, and dont get it for a long while. Anyone know what this could be? Before every few days I got a CEL but I figured it was just from being so rich from bein untuned, it was a non flashing CEL. If anyone has any ideas please share. I'm planning on pulling the code next time I get it however. Thx.
