Default Radiator/Turbo Manifold Problem

I have searched the forums, but couldn't find what I'm looking for. I have a 95 integra gsr with the stock full length radiator. My ram horn manifold/turbo won't fit into the bay without hitting the radiator and I really don't want to go to a half-size radiator. Is there any other ram horn manifold that might fit? I also don't want to downgrade to a log style turbo mani.

ramhorns inherently require a halfcore radiator

That sucks. Are there any tubular manifolds (don't have to be ram horn) that might allow the turbo to fit?

no, not really... you're gonna have to go half core.

I've always wondered if the Full-Race CRX manifold on an Integra would prevent you from having to go to a half-width radiator. The CRX manifold allows you to keep the same turbine orientation, but has a 90 degree angled wastegate off the manifold to possibly clear the radiator.

AC would still be eliminated, but at least you wouldn't have to compromise the radiator size.

I want to check that out. I have seen (a few) pictures of integras with turbos and a good inch or so of clearance from the radiator, but I could never find out how. And A/C has already been taken out, so no worries there.

the mini ram or quick4 non ac will work if specified to fit with a fullcore.

The full race manifold would not clear either.

could always do custom if you have 1k to 2k to drop just on the manifold

^full race will do custom work they will just need to know what turbo, radiator, etc etc you are going with. I would try what the guy above said and ask em.

Okay, well, I really don't want to spend more than 7-8 hundred on the manifold, but that's a thought I guess. I'll look into it for sure, though. Thanks guys.

You could also use a tuck radiator it will only run you around 400 bucks which is much cheaper than having a custom manifold made.

The spoolin performance quick 4 manifold will allow for full radiator, though the turbo will generally sit a bit lower.

hard part is going to be mounting fans. i have an inline pro manifold and koyo full size thick as **** denso radiator. there is no way a twin fan setup will ever fit but a single 10" or possibly the drivers side fan might fit on the passenger side if i make custom brackets.

just was test fitting this the other day

i'm having a blank out on the quick4 since phil makes two different versions. one is the quick4 ac which has the most clearance and the other is the standard quick4

i know there are a few pics floating around the forum. in fact there is a full size radiator discussion thread in the road race forum if you search turbo full radiator

That was my half radiator of choice. Stock vTec Del Sol lol.

You can buy slim fans and mount them on either side of the radiator as a pusher/puller. I'm running one slim fan on the outside of the radiator, if cooling ever becomes an issue I will run another one as a puller perhaps.
