Default Quicktime Electric cut out PEICE OF CRAP

We'll 3 weeks ago i ordered an electric cutout for my exhaust.. which cost me 199 american and 89 bux duty...... it finally came last week...

And i got it installed today, the muffler shop did an awesome job installing it.. and is very clean.....

15 mins later driving home i hear a small exhaust leak and im like wtf...... my friend is driving behind me and calls my cell saying the wiring and motor just came out and flew down the street! so we turn around and grabbed it....

anyways the HOLE motor came right out of the gears and is completly fucked up now that it fell out....
IM SO PISSED

what do you think i should do??? call them and snap?

here's where i got it from

Hell Yeah I would call them. Post some pics of your setup.

Off Topic: 89 bucks duty fees is crazy can you have it shipped to someone in the u.s. and have them ship it to you as a gift or something to avoid the fees?

It looks like the motor and transmission is only held on by a pair of bolts. Did your mechanic have to undo this to install it? If the bolts were loose I could see it falling off and rolling down the street.

Are you lowered? Could you have possibly hit a bump and bottomed out the unit, ripping it off the cutout pipe?

nope car is raised back to almost stock height.... theres no way it could of hit the motor out because it would of hit the bottom of the metal cut out first

Kinda hard to say their product is a piece of crap.

Some are bound to have problems.

Sounds like a pretty f'ed up situation, not that the product had a defect, but that you have to pay so much just to get it shipped there and back...Almost doesn't seem worth it.
