im looking for new cams other than my b16s. i found that many people here have had good success with the skunk2 tuner series stage 1's. so that is what im looking for. but the thing i can't figure out is are they talking about tuner 1's or tuner turbo 1's. it seems like they are talking about the none turbo cams for the turbo application are best.

but why would skunk2 even make turbo cams if it seems like most people are using the non turbo ones for turbo apps. im confused.

Im sure it is because some one unejucated will buy them then realize they dont like them. Then buy what they needed in the first place.

Same thing with Blockguards, I remember not that long ago someone questioning GE about blockguards and whoever was behind the keyboard flat out said we only still make them because people buy them, I do not recommend them on any motor....lol

 

Ok people lets get something straight. Turbo cams were designed for pretty much a restrictive setup. for ex. stock motor, small turbo, small downpipes, log manifold and stock intake manifolds in mind. People that have great success with non-turbo cams are because they are running a more efficient setup such as big turbo's tubulars mani big downpipes and setups that flow very good. Also just because you throw some skunk2 pro 1 on you setup doesnt mean you're gonna gain a **** load more power. You gotta have the right parts and power goals to go with it.
We need more info on your setup to advise on cams.
