Quick tranny oil question.

Quick tranny oil question.
I drained the oil in my gsr tranny last night to replace the seal for the passenger side drive shaft. Can I use just a straight 30W oil? I am pretty sure that is what I used in my ls tranny. Just want to make sure. TIA

i would alos check out the gm sychromesh oil alot of people have great sucess with that oil do search on here. big long post about it
