Quick Resistor Box Question
Does it matter if when you are installing a resistor box in a vehicle that didnt come with one taht you hook up the 12v wire to all 4 of the wires that you cut going to the ecu? Or can you just hook it up to any switched 12v?
Just wondering if it mattered and if anyone knows why it would/ would not?
Thank you in advanced

Huh? All you do to wire in a resistor box is splice into the "Dead" plug on the right side of the engine bay. You need a digital volt and Ohm reader ($20 from radio shack) and you just touch all the tabs and find the 4 that go to the injectors, and splice into them with the resistor 4 wires..

Yeah i know about those 4 i was wondering about the 12 volt wire that is coming from the resistor box. The 4 splice into the 4 from the injectors I was just wondering about the 5th

O the 5th wire just splices into the 4 wires going back into the dead plug....so you will have all 4 of those wires soldered together and the 1 wire from the resistor spliced with them.
