quick question on cooling a turbo motor
How well does the stock radiator in 95 or so Civic cool? Will it cool a mid 200 Hp turbo motor?
To be quite honest guys I am not building a Honda (sorry). What I am building is a 1927 Ford Roadster with a turbo charged four cylinder (2.3 ford sorry again). The reason for me posting here is my grill shell is very small and I need to find a radiator that will cool it. from my measurements a Civic Radiator will fit nicely and still give me room for an intercooler.
I hope my post does not offend anyone, just looking for some advice.
Thanks junk runner jr

The iron block/head ford motor will probably require more cooling than what a standard civic radiatior can provide. Remember that the civic motor is all aluminum and therefore more conducive to thermal transfer.

Right but he has a turbo ford, not a civic, apples to oranges.

thats a cool/fun project....i would get a bit bigger or radiator it it'll fit...if not just get your self a high performance civic radiator i think that will cool it down better than the stock ones that you're planning to use...good luck....post some pics soon..
Not being a Honda guy I have no idea where to go for a performance radiator. I have seen Fluidines web site but they are well over a $300 for their radiator. Most placed I have contacted to custom build one were looking for more than that. Do you guys know of any places that offer one a little less expansive?

You'll need to use a host like http://www.ihostphotos.com. Then get the address of the picture you uploaded, and post it here.
