Default Quick Question About Silicon IC Pipe connectors.....

does anyone know for sure if I can fit a 2.25'' silicon piping coupling over a 2.5'' pipe safety? just want to be sure before purchase.

silicone hose are measure based on outside diameter of the piping itself..i.e. 2.5" hose will fit piping with 2.5" outside diameter

2.25 is not gonna fit over 2.5", you need a transition hose...

nope,. I only used 3 ply hose, they do not strecth at all..the 2 ply might, but not to .25 inch

I stretched my 2.5s to 2.75 to fit on my intercooler. I took a glass that tapers in diameter from bottom to top, let the connecter soak in HOT water for about 10 minutes then crammed it down onto the glass, let it soak in the water for another 10 minutes then installed my new "reducer". It's kinda ghetto but hey..whatever it takes for boost.
