Default a quick notched block question

I notched out my second z6 block today. I installed the pistons and spun it around, none of them hit but i didn't take off as much of the block as i did before. Could the block expand enough to cause the rods to hit when it heats up or is it not going to change much? Its hard to tell how close it is right now. I put some putty on the block and spun the crank. Its looks around 1/8 clearance but its pretty hard to tell.

The ones i have done had less clearance than that and no problems. more like 2-3mm
