Default Quick initial startup questions regarding injectors.

On a fresh build using the stock computer during initial startup, is it okay to use 780cc injectors or should i use the stock ones for it? I wasnt sure if the computer itself and the stock fuel pressure reg would be enough to keep the amount of fuel at stock levels during idle........ thanx guys

use the stock injectors. the 780's will flood your cylinders, possibly causing damage from washing oil away

i highly doubt your stock ecu will even start up 780cc injectors. they are more than 3 times bigger than stock. you need to get a basemap before you start the motor. and i would suggest tuning immediately upon startup.

dont run the stock ecu with 780's
use stock injectors.
Think about the injector duration for idle its going to be, lets say, 10ms for 780's and 30ms for 240's

I definitely understand. I was just making sure. It will be tuned by Jeff Evans using Neptune after the initial startup. I plan on installing an injector driver for the 780's and wanted to install before i put the motor in. I cannot do that since the stock injectors arent peak and hold.

I will definitely fire it up initially with the stocks, thanx fellas.
