Default Quick IAT question "uberdata"...

Ok... so ive got a good map running my car but i cant seem to get the IAT adjustment right... what is the difference between the "low" "medium" and "high" it 60 out right now and its going to be probably 40 tonight and even at 60 its leanning out pritty badly.. i added more to the 30.1 and 50.3 degree colums and did it for the low medium and high ones.. and it didnt really effect it at all.. in fact it almost seemed to lean it out more... im really confused.. any help would probably help me out alot.. thanks...

im using uberdata 1.7 and alot of guys say that have had good luck tunning the IAT with this.. but im still alittle lost.. i mean i get how it works i just cant seem to get it right... the car runs fine when it is warm out but the temp drops and naturally the car leans out... and i just need to know how to correct this with the IAT and what sort of numbers i have to change in the rows...

i cant remember right now (am using crome by the way)....but IAT effects either or both fuel and timing as temps vary! check if you are you running closed or open loop when you do your IAT adjustments? well i thought nobody should touch the IAT table as long they know what they are doing! its easier to work on the map while the IAT is on stock numbers than adjust the IAT if required.....return IAT table back to stock....fix the problems on the map from there (thats if you are having any struggles) until you get good perfect resonse, afr mix and no struggling....then you adjust IAT table! IAT is the last thing you do after doing a tune since it does alter allot fo things when changed!

steps:
1- trun IAT to stock numbers or atleast back to the situation it was of the base map you are using
2-check fuel pressure at idle
3-spark gapping
4-idle timing at the dist should be 16 degrees
5-set fuel according to your afr desire on both low and high
6- set timing too conservative here

if problems not solved then then i guess you have some sort of ignition problem! it could be gapping! if you an egt what the temp when the engine struggles? if hot then it could be too much timing at that area IF low then your plugs could be blowin out spark and need to run a smaller gap...whats your gap at?

7- check engine grounds
8- do a compression test too!

u have to do too many test to know how healthy your engine is!

hope this gives you a hint!

i think u just asnwered your question......u tuned a car, then it leans/rich the afr mix after the IAT raises? i guess the car wasnt tuned when the engine was fully warmed up (u have to get the engine to the working temps of all sensors...ect so you can tune to the stock IAT table numbers
