QUICK CLUTCH QUESTION.....
Just so you know I did a search under clutches...and everyone just wants to know what they need for their power range. Mine is a bit different.
Question:
Power range 300-375 at most with my setup
I already have a Competition Clutch Stage 2 sprung. This is what it states on their website:
Stage 2 - Street Series Combo Kit (Exact kit I bought)
This kit includes a Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit with a Lightweight 4140 Forged Steel Flywheel. This performance clutch kit is designed for the moderate enthusiast with considerable bolt-on modifications – to include 60-80 shots of nitrous. This unit is properly suited for aggressive street enthusiasm and moderate track use. The 2100 Series kit offers approximately 80% increase in torque capacity and extended life.
I have a bad feeling it won't hold up. It is for DD only, and very occassional track use. If it starts slipping can I just change the pressure plate? Can I use a different brand pressure plate? Which ones are good?
Thanks for quick responses.
