stupid question. guess I never noticed but is the bov supposed to stay open when idling?

 

Yes. Think about it, when the throttle plate is closed there is vacuum in the intake manifold. Vacuumpen bov.

I never thought about that... of course I don't have my turbo on yet.. Damn blown motors make that hard

Why is it the day before I get something cool done, somethin bad happens? The day after I order my CF hood... the wife wrecks the car and almost totals it.. the day before I get my full custom turbo put on, the motor blows.. I have such bad luck..
