questions on boosting my b16
My dad bought me a 98 civic with 400,000 miles (wow) that came through his dealership. Only $500 i couldnt resist. I found a great deal on an obd1 b16a, so i bought it and put it in myself. (First motor swap) call me crazy but im proud. Anyway, i put an Apexi exhaust, ACT 2100 extreme clutch, Apexi AFC, and an AEM v2. Im about to get out off school so this means money headed my way. I want to boost it. But dont know much about that world. Iwant to make a lot of power but do everything right. Please feel free to fill me in.
You can't just be "filled in". Start reading, there's a world of knowledge on this site alone.

a lot of ppl are gonna sell u to hit the search button but since this being your first post and all i will try to help u out.
turbo kit $1500-$2500 depending if u piece it or buy it as a whole
hondata $450 new w/ boost, $50 basemaps, $400 tunning or urbdata
$100 gauges new
$90 fuel pump new
$300-$400 clutch new
$200-$300 injectors
3inch exhaust $300-$500
$100 cat new (optional)
prolly for getting some stuff but u get the idea....
this is pretty much a simple setup for 200-300whp on a stock b16 upto 10psi
u can get those parts cheaper if u shop around and buy used.
but make sure u get it tuned thats the more important thing if u want it to last.
i am also new to turbo but thats what i had for my setup and it worked good until i sold it.
