Default Questions about Hondata 2B

Can I simply just plug and play everything and I'm set to go?

I don't seem to be able to adjust my own fuel/air settings? Am I not allowed to with this version with the Hondata? I'm not too sure on what I can, and cannot do with this.

I want to install it first, then install my turbo later, lookign through the rom editor doesn't seem to allow me to tune it myself.

Do Hondata have base maps that I can use to simply install, and run for th etime being before I take it to be fully tuned?

2b's wont let you tune yourself. You will have to have someone with a 4b tune it for you. You can get a base map off hondata's site that matchs your setup. However, inorder for you to burn the eeprom you will need the pocket programmer.

I wouldn't suggest you install the 2b first.

You could always get it, install it and have hondata retailer tune it for you...............

whichever dealer you buy the hondata from should be able to program a stock base map for you. Paul

I was just basically wondering if I can get it put in for the immediate time being, and if there was a base map in the system itself so I could acctually drive it over to a place to get it tuned.

But I don't know that.. if I get it installed, if there is ANY kind of map in it at all. I mean,, if I install it, and my car doesn't start... well, that would suckass. I don't know if it will give me spark or anything basically. I guess the best way is to all the place where I got it from.

Just ask the place you got it from what kind of base map is in it.

if you have a basemap that is close to your setup, you should be able to drive around till you get to your tuner.
