Default a question of timing.....

I have run a search (on this board AND clubsi) and have yet to get an answer. I asked a few months back on clubsi and still nothing. I know there are alot of ill folks about stupid newbie questions, so sorry if this has been hashed and hashed. I'm running nitrous now, (yes I have a helm's, timing light, etc...) and have my timing at stock (marks lined up) for my 55 shot. I'm asking this in the FI forum because out of all of the ones I've read here, you guys are by far the most knowledgable of the group. What makes me wonder is how do I accurately retard/advance the timing?? '00 Si, stock B16A2.... I don't see any marks other than one before/after the "honda factory" setting. Do those marks equate to 1 degree +/-? If I go to a 75 shot, I wanna reduce timing 2 degrees. The question is, how do I know exactly what two degrees is?

Any and ALL help is appreciated, so thanks in advance.

chris wants a 400hp Si for christmas, but looks like it's gonna be christmas 2003 before it happens

Awesome. I take it there are basically no setups that require us to go beyond the 14-18 degree parameters?

I knew I'd get a quick reply!
