Default Question for those with Nitrous

Nitro works in a similar way to a turbo, that is it allows more air into the Combustion chambers. It does this in 2 ways right? one by coooling the air around it down, and 2 the o in N2o itself has the one molecule of oxygen.

What I want to know is how is fuel delivered to your engine whilst your spraying? I knwo it is coming thru the injectors etc etc, but how will a stock ECU know when to supply more fuel? If this is not possible, an aftermarket ECU I assume is a necessary? is there any other way?

there are a couple ways, this is a quick summary; dry shots do not supply extra fuel to your engine, that is why you must use smaller shots. there are also wet/dry kits like zex that send a vaccum signal to your inj to increase fuel, and then there are wet kits that supply fuel and nitrous throught nozzles. best thing to do is search the net. hth

Not to be a complete dick...Nitro is a fuel, different from Nitrous...
You're right though, it does cool the air from the expansion of liguid to gas as well as adding more oxygen from the chemical.
I wondered how the Zex kit compensated for the oxygen without detonating...interesting.
