Default question on custom turbo kit

some people claim that you can get a custom turbo kit made for you for around $1000?.....where can i find a place that can do that for me, etc? also, if i have to get the parts, i have no clue on what to get. I want to have one on my civic ex, instead of shelling out 2000-3500 for a greddy or drag.......some one let me know. THANKS!

at that price you have to do all the work yourself or know someone that can weld. It is possible, I did it back in the day. Just have to look for good deals on used stuff online.

Yup..Just take your time. Don't rush into turbo. If you do, you'll end up spending more in the future..Good things are hard to come by, but I believe if you take your time, it'll all be worth it...Do it right, the first time....

Good Luck!

Here is my setup

T3 with 60 a/r compressor and 63 a/r turbine w/ internal WG $140
HKS manifold w/ external WG flange that will be blocked off. $175
1G DSM BOV $35
450cc DSM injectors $60
Hondata s200 w/ boost $500
Custom intercooler $200
Custom 3 inch exhaust $150
Charge pipes $80
Other stuff $100
New walbro intank fuel pump $100

Total $1540

And this price is with hondata and full 3" exhaust and intercooler, things that are not needed but recomended.

this is true but it comes with a small turbo, no intercooler(i think), and the fuel management is nothing compared to hondata.

Greddy kits don't come with IC's or BOV's....DOHC kits come with injectors but SOHC's don't. Either kit, ditch the blue box.
