Default intalling a turbo

how hard is it to put a turbo kit on? on a scale of 1 to 10?

If it's a pre-fab kit, as an amateur wrencher myself I rank it as a 3. Not one big job, but several small ones.

wat about if i was makeing mah own kit
i know u have to weld but i don't know where to find weld supplies

DIY kit and you Don't know how to weld?
Welding will be the hardest part. Practice that until you are comfortable.
You can buy welding stuff at Sears

i just started my own kit, cutting the pipes was fun to say the least. i dont have a welder nor do i know howto weld. but i know lots of people that do, and it was still a pita for me. should have taken 2 days. now it's taking almost a week, since my pipes are still not welded.

rating: i thought the kit would be a 5 on a 1-10 scale. but i've found it to be a 9...needless to say, im not extreemly happy right now and my car is almost turboed.
