Default Question Blitz DD BOV

The bov came with two attachments....a metal piece u can see right trhough and a filter attachment...you can only screw one on and i put on the metal one...but my bov doesnt sould like most bov's it sounds like a big sneeze...would the filter piece change the sound of it??

thats because the blitz is one of the more tame sounding BOV, the filter makes it quieter. If you wanted the sharp chirp, you should have gotten a greddy. The blitz sounds like a rush of air, that why I bought mine...

I like the sound of mine. Im using the metal attachment. Why dont you put the filter one on and see if you like it it takes like 5 minutes. The filter attachment blocks the low boost port on the blowoff valve thats the only difference i can see.

when you push big boost, it sounds better. I like it, it's subtle.

i love the way my blitz dd sounds. its nice and conservative, loud up top but real quiet on lower boost. its sounds perfect to me at 7 psi

i have the same BOV and i didnt use any of the attatchments i just left them off, i had some clearance issues, so it worked best like that.

sounds okay, im running like 17-18psi and it sounds like an eagle got a pool stick shoved up its ***!!!!

kinda painful sounding!
