question about sc44

Default question about sc44

i recently got a sc44 in december, its still brand new just sitting in the bag. i am almost done with my build and gonna put it on. do u think the turbo is ok or should i have put oil in it every once in awhile and spin it to keep it lubed up. thanks

if the bag is still sealed I'd just leave it alone until you're ready to use it, it should be fine.

just make sure you prelube it whne you hook it up after that you are golden no issues to worry about .

what u mean prelube, like prime it before i start up, i knew that. but should i do anything else?

just like you do a freshly built engine. you remove the ecu fuse, and crank the motor until you see oil pressure on the gauge.

anyways you have nothing to worry about, brand new turbos don't spin at idle, my sc61 did not spun at idle until after 500 miles

oh i was mainly wondering since i haven't opened it if i didn't put like a few drops of oil in the center section to keep the seals lubed that i might blow if i didn't since its brand new and hasnt been opened since december
