Question about Greddy return fitting...???
Sup honda-tech....im runnning a Y8 oil pan on my Z6 with the greddy return fitting, but we had to ghetto-rig it just to make it fit. so now its leeking. i didnt have a chance to take off the fitting of the Y8 pan, so i have a Z6 pan to do this on......so here is what i need.....WHAT SIZE ARE THE THREE HOLES THAT I NEED TO DRILL FOR THE FITTING TO FIT???

its not leaking from the fitting, its leaking from where the oil pan gasket is. so i just wanna use a Z6 pan.

Do this, and only hand tighten the nuts/bolts that hold it on. My first time doing an oil pan gasket, I screwed up 3 in a row.

So your first second and third time
Yea. . .Don't tighten it too much or the gasket will pinch .. .

First I tried reusing the old one...it leaked.
I bought a new one...it still leaked.
I tried reusing the new one with RTV...it still leaked.
I went and bought ANOTHER one and only hand tightened everything and it worked like a charm. It was a bitch to get the RTV'd pan off the block. It was a bitch to get the RTV off the pan.
I was torquing the nuts so tight I actually broke a stud on one of the first few attempts.

i would do that but the Y8 pan doesnt fit really good. and i couldnt get the flywheel cover on when i put on the Y8 pan. anyone know what size i should drill????
i dont wanna take off the fitting then letting my car sit till i measure the size. i just need to know what size so i can drill the Z6 pan and put it on the same day.
thanks for the info

its probably not helping that it doesnt have the slope it should. It should be installed with the flange strait so the nipple is angled up a bit. that will probably be fine though as long as you seal it real good.
This is for a GSR so dunno if it's the same. Check out steps 34 & 35.
