ls block+gsr girdle= reassurance which=




BUT..which arp main cap studs do i use??

 

I read somewhere that the LS block is less rigid than the GSR block, so the girdle, without perfect torquing, can actually harm the block by causing out-of-roundness.

Anyone can verify this? I just thought I read this somewhere yesterday I believe.

 

if you're going to run the oem girdle, use gsr/itr main studs.

 

Yes it is a stock girdle.

On another note, should I use the gsr caps or just drill the ls mains for the dowels to go in?

 

If you have your heart set on it ,use the original caps that came on the block.I don't see the need for one personally.There are better ways to spend your time and money.
