I am building a 400hp sc61 powered b16, will be ran with an AEM ems, 780cc injectors etc etc. however I have a custom 2.5 inch downpipe (need my a/c) and i have this muffler the muffler supports 3 inch piping but inside the canister itself looks to be 2- 2 1/2" is that how all 3" exhaust are? 3 inches from the down pipe and into a 2.5 inch muffler? because somehow I always thought it should be 3 inches inside the muffler.

 

Be honest im not really sure i bought the apex N1 the piping was definitely 3inch but yeah looking through inside muffler im sure it looks smaller & probably is. Try to measure that shat

 

I use a Apex-i Turbo Muff (univseral), and it's 3.3" all the way through! I can stick my arm up my tail pipe - talk about some serious fisting!

So THATS what you do for fun out there where you live?? You stick your arm up your tailpipe? I thought that stuff only went on in prison...

 

my blitz turbo canister is almost the same in, through, and 4" out. although your's may just have a thicker resonator on the inside. i kno my muffler doesnt really resonate sh*t.

yea my turbo apexi N1 is a little over 3" all the way thru too
