Default Question

Hi I have a b16a2 motor/tranny in my 93 civic si. It has 50 thou km and I was wondering all I would need to turbo my car is a turbo kit and a fuel managment system correct ? I only want to run 8psi max so I won't need to upgrade the internals correct ?

No you don't have to. the better your fuel management and tune, the safer it will be. there are plenty of people running 15 psi on stock motors. Me included.

I'd recommend chipping your ecu with Crome.. depending on your power you could stay with the fmu but they are the cause to many problems in the turbo world

yes i would strongly suggest upgrading your clutch, there is nothing worse than being limited by something as easy to change as your clutch...

Honestly i have a greddy kit on my 99 SI and its the only regret that i have on my car... look into a different kit, or even peice something together..

Why do you not like your greddy kit ? I am not looking to go over 8psi.

I am also wondering is the greddy evo 2 exhaust system good for turbo'd civic's ?

honestly the turbo is too small and its got nothing good past second gear, injectors are too small and the EMS sucks, downpipe is too small etc... just peice all your **** together with something like a t-3/t-4 and build around that.

what size is the exhaust? You don't have to worry about going big on your exhaust with a turbo, a lot of people run 3 in, or even 4 in, i think 4 is a lot less people though.
