I'm installing my quaife right now, and it doesn't have the speedo driver gear.
I did a search and found that I have to use a gear puller to pop the speedo gear off the factor diff. I only have a 2 arm gear puller, will this be sufficient? or is the speedo gear really fragile and I should wait till I can get a 3 arm one???

 

Use some PB Blaster on the gear and gently use your 2 arm puller and you should be fine.

 

Heat it up with a propane torch for removal and reinstallation.
