a friend has one on his 240. it worked till he hit something on the road then it broke... but that's not really the qtp's fault.

personally, i run a dmh and i love it, never had a probelm yet, and it fully opens and closes! quickly too.

when i was researching cutouts, i read that the qtp break more often... idk.

i heard there's a break-in procedure for the qtp, so that it seals properly. Is this true? If so, what is the method? Thanks

DMH is generally regarded as the best electric cut out around here. I've never had a problem or seen a problem with them.

QTP's however have leaked on a friends fbody.

I use one and give it more attention than anything else on the car. It leaks, so the fix is high temp RTV to help it seal. It sticks sometimes because of the RTV and as of late, I have to tap the motor while activating the switch to make it work, I believe it's toast, but having one is fun when it's working.

I have a 60mm exhaust. Do they make one that size? I only see 2.25, 2.5, 3, ect.. Do i have to custom make the pipe?
