just get some slim line fans from your local parts store, they can be wired for pusher or puller

I'd just wire them opposite of the stock fan right?

I bought a $65 "advanced auto parts" pusher fan ( they had both types ) and it kept my wrx turboed D-series cool, but I have a full sized radiator. Now I have the factory puller fan on the pass. side and the pusher fan on the driver/turbo side of the radiator, and it stayes super cool. I left the thermostat out for about 2 days and the temp gauge never even came up off the resting spot !!!

There is a difference between pusher and puller fans, its not just a matter swapping the polarity ( not to say that won't work ). The blades on a the fans are pitched different.

They work good, just make sure you check have much CFM it flows. I originally purchased a pusher fan from Autozone (Hayden) but then realized it didnt flow hardly the CFM it needed to (about 850-900). So I purchased a Proform fan from Jegs. It was just a little more expensive but flows 1200CFM at less of an AMP draw than the Hayden.

Only thing different thing about the wiring is reversing the polarity.

Ive heard pusher fans dont work well. They tend to interfere with air flow at high speeds. Any comments?

everyone that I've read that uses them hasnt complained during highway driving about overheating. Then again no one has shown factual information proving if the pusher fans are more/less beneficial on the highway. I think its mostly theory . . .
