so im slowly piecing my first turbo kit. Id like to run a fittitng instead of a sandwich so i can retain my oem oil cooler. What are the pros and cons between the two? EDIT: to be more specific for my applications it will go on a stock b18c1 then a b18c1 with a b16 head

phone wouldnt let me edit my post. To be a little more specific on my setup this will be for a b18c1 and then a b18c1 with a b16 head. Prob with a greddy 18g or gt2860rs turbo. And whichever setup will have a oil pressure gauge. I think thats everything related to my question. Tia

The Golden Eagle sandwich provides filtered oil to your turbo. The cheap ones do not. This is key for turbo life.

Fittings provide unfiltered oil and can break off over time.

how does it break off? Is there a lot of movement in the line or something? And i think i could find an inline filter for it

Id like to keep my oem oil cooler so im looking for an alternative. If i ran my oil cooler and then an oil filter relocator kit i could tap the filtered line going from the filter to the motor for a feed line for the turbo right?

yeah, you can stack up things if you want.

that OEM thing isnt really much of a cooler either.

I would hate to think honda did it for no reason? but i would like to see how effective it is at cooling.

Just put the oil plate on the factory cooler and run your feed line. There's no need to complicate this.
