so i got the profec A and i dont like it and i got the profec B head unit that controls boost from a friend free but he didnt have the solenoid.... my question is can i cover up the 3rd hole on the profec a solenoid and just use the in and out and run it the same or no?

 

You need to compare to two solenoids. you don't "cover' up any holes in the greddy solenoids. I doesn't work that way.

 

yeah but the profec a has 3 holes for vac and profec b has 2
