Default Problems With Drag III Kit and Integra JDM Front End

Does anybody use the drag III kits for there integra with jdm front end have problems with the tial wastegate interfereing with closing the hood? Sorry for such an OT topic, but i want to know any problems people have faced with jdm front and drag III kits. Any problems and solutions that you have, what what you did to fix it would be appreciated.

i didnt have a drag 3 mani when i had my jdm front on my old teg, but i had the inline pro, without the elbow installed, it would clear just fine, however i added a elbow for the dump anyways.


if you have a problem, just get a 90 degree elbow.

it will rub a little on the hood but u should be able to close it.

i dunno bout tegs but when u use a drag kit and tial wastegate on civics, it doesn't rub until u add a fitting to the top port and puts a nice lump in ur hood every time the engine torques back

I ground maybe an inch I think (been over 3 years) off of that top fitting and it clears just fine now.

Some people just replace the aluminum banjo fitting with a much shorter steel or brass fitting... then again the 90 deg elbow is a good solution as well. Import Parts usually has them in stock.

I hacked my hood frame to allow clearance for the upper tial fitting on my G3 GSR.
