hi everyone,

im having problems with my ecu, i bought an ecu from a member on ebay called importworkz and cant get it to plug in,

heres my original ecu inside:


heres my ecu i was sent:


heres the two connectors with the differences circled in red:


can anyone tell me, if i cut off the tab on the plugs so it connects will it be ok?

hmm, you are in the UK so i assume you are having a problem because you purchased a USDM ecu. i dont see why it would hurt to trim the connector to fit but first you need to confirm that the pinout is the same as obd1 usdm and jdm ecu's. i dont see why it would be different but i dont know
