Default PROBLEM....PICS ADDED

so im finishing up my build and fixing some small problems. nothing major just some leaks here and there. then i notice water dripping from where the downpipe meets the exhaust. so i loosen the bolts and a pretty good size stream of water pours out comeing from the downpipe side. and i did this on my lunch break so i didnt have time to check into it more. i bolted it back up, and left it loose a little so i could see if its still dripping. and it is. its a slightly dirty water color. i used all green coolant, its a oil cooled turbonetics ball bearing 60-1. where is the water coming from???????

i moved it from one side of the building into the bay. maybe 2 min of run time. i just went out and checked it again. it seems to have stopped dripping. i need to take the downpipe completely off and check the turbo. abd go from there. i just have limited time.

new cars drip water from the exahust muffler from condensation

am assuming this is a fresh built motor? remember you are using heat wrap so that one of the reasons condensation will build even more in your manifold....if its slightly brown thats burnt fuel with in the down pipe....did u try running the engine on with the downpipe open? i know it gonna be noisy, but leave it idle from there until the fan engages and see if there is any more water dripping?

i hope u didnt drive your car in a swap or something

thanks for the info. it sucks because my car is at my work, and i only have from 12-1 to figure this out. i drove it from the place that did my charge pipes and exhaust and it was only suppose to make a pit stop here and then take it home, but i keep finding little things that worry me. and i dont want to drive it. i am thinking it is just condensation, because of the lack of smell and color. the first bend in the downpipe is a little lower than the rest of the exhaust, so maybe its just settling there. but doesnt make much sense either since the flex pipe is right before the flange on the exhaust side, and it cant be from rain because i have 3" piping that has a downward faceing dump right before the bumper. at lunch im gonna take the dp off and see whats up.

and the winner is..........condensation.
took the downpipe all the way off and water still streamed out, not as much as yesterday though. the turbo was dry and the only moisture i could see was in between the bottom elbow and the flex pipe. feel much better now.

NEW QUESTION, when i first started the car after getting everything together the oil pressure was aroung 75psi, now it is like 5psi and doesnt move. its a autometer electronic gauge. oil is flowing through the turbo feed and is getting to the head, whats going on???????????
