This thread will prob get locked but some of those prices look really high. Shop around a little more. How many spark plugs are you buying for 40 bucks?

Check out http://www.sparkplugs.com I was able to get 12 sparkplugs for $2.50 a piece, for the same price that you are paying for just 4 sparkplugs. You're going to want more then 4 sparkplugs when it comes time to start tuning your setup.

EDIT: Also I paid about $120ish shipped for my B18C ARP headstud kit through http://www.summitracing.com

DOUBLE EDIT: and IMO you're paying too much for ITR cams.

Try the H-T classifieds in the marketplace, I've heard that a used set is around $200-$300.

You can get a universal FAL for around $40-$100 from Autozone, NAPA, or b18bturbo on here.

any reason you chose the $500 polished Victor-X instead of the $300 regular Victor-X? look at summitracing.com and you'll see they have the Victor-x (non-polished) for about $330.

Trully not really that was more of a look for the motor. To make it look and stick out more when the hood is open. But I could save 200 bucks without the polished.

^^^ Agree.

ARP Head Stud Kit-Acura B18C $153 - Should b ~$120
Moroso Street-Strip Aluminum Oil Pan $429 - Why not just tap/weld you own pan? It can be done really clean if you take your time and use good fittings. Bling effect again???

Like I said the polished look for most to make the motor look better, but with the arp head studs i found them for 133 then another place 125 not shipped. Then for the moroso oil pan it aint the bling effect. The reason behind it is that I just wanted to make it easier so I coudlnt mess it up or not have it turn out really clean. I know if I take my time and do it I can, but I guess I am just tryin to save myself some work since I will be doing alot of it. Thanks

I got the aem as well. For the options and also because I figured that the ems should be one thing not to skimp on.

I'm lookin at this list and from the looks of it u just want the "bling/look at all these top of the line name brand parts i have". you dont need the $400 fans or the $300 throttle body or the $500 intake mani when the $300 unpolished intake mani gets the job done. also stock plug wires or ngk blues will work. what is you hp goal for this car? also i take it u already found a competent AEM tuner to tune your car? unless u plan on doin it yourself. if you havne't found a good tuner within a reasonable distance there's always netpune, hondata s300, and all the freeware stuff.

Ok no I aint going for the "look at the brands i have". I want the best of the best cause its the best, I dont wanna get 100 dollar throttle bodies...why cause i feel u get what you pay for. Now if I can get the same throttle body cheaper from a different dealer that is one thing, but downgrading to save money NO. The only "bling" thing on my list is the intake manifold the rest isnt for bling. And as for the fans, yes iaint goin with them anymore I am gettin some slim fans off a dude on here. And about the stock plug wires, I was told to just upgrade wires and plugs the rest is fine. Then again goin with the best there are, not the top of the line but close. Then my hp goal is 500 whp to 650whp, and yes i have found a aem tuner within 30 minutes drive. I dont plan to do **** myself.

do a search around here on 500whp + setups and you'll find most of them are simple. K.I.S.S. But since u wanna go all out why not just skip the whole dizzy thing and get a multichannel cdi and do c.o.p.?

Dude all these parts are a combination of me researching and peoples references. From my past 2 months of researching this, I found one thing lends to another then another. I know if i build this motor it should make 500whp+ maybe 600whp and it will be really damn strong. As for gettin rid of the distributor.....No. Sorry that just seems like to much work and I aint doing anything to ignition to plugs and wires. Thanks tho
