Precision SC61 questions
Yes, this turbo has been talked about repeated times and I have done a search already. It seems the majority of you that run them range from a 1.8 to a 2.0 liter motor which is what the turbo was designed for. So my question is, would the sc61 60comp and t3 63a/r stage V wheel be a good turbo to use on a fully built prelude motor (bored to 2.4 liters)? Or would you recommend running the sc63 on that specific motor? I am looking for both streetability as well as power for the track. I will be happy with the mid 400's for power since my other turbo is not adequately sized to meet those needs. Thanks.

The Gt40 compressor wheel that is used in the SC61 is a popular wheel for not just 1.8L's but alot of 3 liter V6/I6's too. It should work really well on a 2.4L. The advantage of running it on a bigger motor is u can run a bigger exhaust side and still maintain good spool.

Re: (Kwuaymaikrup)
I read from an old post that the t04s is better for larger displacement motors ex.
84mm where as the t04e has better effeciency for a stock bore 1.8L street car

Re: (DLB1994)
I have yet to hear an advantage to the S housing over the E housing worth the price difference. If you know of it, let me know. I'm in the market for an SC61 and if someone can explain the true, proven difference between the two I'd be grateful.
