Default Precision Injectors- Not accurate?

I'm looking for a set of injectors, and my buddy told me to stay away from precision because they are not all that accurate. ( 1000 cc is really 970 ) can anyone confirm this?

theres a big price difference between rc & precision

People like both RC and Precision. I've had RC and they were great to me...now I have precision and they have also been great to me. I really don't see a big problem even if an injector (from either company) is off by 30cc's haha. If you are worried about a mere 30cc's you should not be using that small of an injector in the first place. I doubt they are off like that though. Did you ask him if he had any evidence of this claim or is it just speculation and hear say?

There's nothing wrong with precision injectors, I'm running them on my new engine.

ive also had rc and precision. might actually be a bigger fan of the precisions (running 780's right now). i think your friend might be getting confused between pounds per minute and cc's. ie 42.5# injectors are like 440cc's or something...

if a 1000 cc was 970, that'd probably be pretty acceptable.

wouldnt be nearly the difference of a 450 being a 420.

most injectors arent that balanced.
