Default Ports on VC (backside w/no baffles sorta)

I've been adding crankcase vent ports to the backside of the vc...I didn't like other people's setup, so I came up with this:

The aluminum pipe will be welded to valve cover on the outside. Then I will slightly bore out a -10an weld fitting put it over the pipe sticking out and weld it on.

it looks like any oil that collects on that baffle will push it directly out of the fitting.

Nope, the pipe with the jam nuts goes higher inside baffle. The pipe will be at the same height as where the stock vent nipple is at. The other side of the aluminum pipe will be welding to the valve cover. Any oil bouncing around below the baffle will not get into the pipe. I'll also put hondabond on the jam nuts when I secure the entire thing up.

Does the valve cover need to be pre heated before welding the aluminum bungs? Looks good

I always remove the stock baffles, and re-weld small, less restrictive ones back in. I would just be worried about the effectiveness of the small tube. It will work better than stock, but that's a lot of work for a minimal effect. I like the idea, I would just work out a new baffle system if it were me.

I considered this, but there isn't much work done. The difference between the -10 lines and the pipe I am using are minimal. The pipes might be 1/16" smaller in diameter then the -10.

No like charlie said. Make sure to clean it real good the aluminum can retain some oil.

I like the way this came out using the oem baffle. When I did mine I took out the baffle and welded in some angle iron over the ports so no oil could splash near it and get sucked out.
