Now, my question is, how does AEM deal with boost? will i still need a missing link?

I run a SpeedPro Bank-To-Bank Unit. Its in your budget, its easy to utilize. Check it out. http://www.fuelairspark.com/catalog/banktobank.asp
Something new with the Hondata thay may change a few minds is the option of a g-sensor that will allow you to get skidpad readings as well as dyno results. Check out the Hondata website for more details.

Dude e-mail if you think there are no tuners. Jeffrey Atwood is CT's best kept secret check out the numbers and clean dyno run of my boy's B16a-T running an Si Greddy kit on 18 psi of boost. You can achieve your goal easily running maybe 14-15psi of boost. Go with Hondata that's what we use on all of our turbocharged cars. Jeff is simply put a ******* scientist and he knows his **** in and out side to side anyway you wanna call it. He is a mechanical engineer from Boston University of Boston college and he now works for T.I. Automotive testing and designing fuel systems. He knows Hondata just as good as the best. After the results off of my boy's JDM B16a we called and Hondata to notify Doug(also the man) of our results. Reason being we were arguing with one of the guys of Pruven Peformance about desired a/f ratios. He thought we were running it too lean and he said it would blow. Well Jeff was a 100% correct. Greg Fodor(my other buddy and owner of the car) called Doug at Hondata and notified him of our a/f ratio which I believe was about 12.3 or so. Something like that. He said that was perfect. We are now in the process of getting CT on the map. If you need the Hondata we can order for you. You can reach me at (203) 526-0961 or e-mail me @ projectsohcex@aol.com. My name is Abdul. But for now just enjoy the dyno and setup my boy ran on his car!
Here is my friend's set up he actually wrote this in response to an unbeliever.
the motor was biult. It has balanced crank, polished crank, comp. valve job, stainless steel vales, turbo cams by crower, tit. retainers, dual springs, redline at 10000rpm but have hondata with stage 4 with 1988 pr3 ecu non obd so redline is 9000rpm. However, since I am not making power that high I moved it down to 8700-8500rpm. rc 550 injectors running at 85%, aem fpr at 50psi, warlboro 255lph fuel pump, 18g greddy turbo, greddy bov, tial 40mm wastegate w/1bar spring(14.5lbs), greddy intercooler front mt, greddy oil cooler, 9:1 comp, crower rods, srp pistons w/3.209 bore, str block saver, 2.5" downpipe, 3" thermal exhaust turbo, str fuel rail, aem cam sprocket adj, cams degreed 3 retard on exhaust, 3 retard on intake, combined 6 off at crank, deburred head, blue printed motor, gasket matched, hondata intakemanifold gasket, air fuel ratio,s at 12.3, little cam produced 253hp and 218 torque at 6500. Tuned with wide band o2 sensor by my friend jeff. dyno time was 3 hrs. needed more but ran out of time to use the boost controller.
made 321hp and 231 torque on 14.5 psi. just bought a 18.5 pound spring.
all of this in a 1988 crx, 2050lbs. I am the owner and semi builder in bridgeport, ct.

For the money and features, i've been using Link engine management products for the past 3-4 years that i've been playing with turbocharged Honda engines. Easy tuning via keypad (looks a bit like the A'PEXi PowerFC hand controller) or laptop, and its plug-in, and doesn't require endless amoutns of ROM burning and emulators like the hondata does.
I used the TurboLink piggyback for my D16Y8 (which worked in conjunction with my stock ECU) and in my integra, i'm using the plug-in IntegraLink ECU. Its brilliant, many features that you wouldn't find in a Hondata, and at a cheaper price. Link products are made in New Zealand, and are famous in the turbocharged Miata world.. There's a few other users here apart from myself who are running Link ECUs.. Check out their website: http://www.link-electro-usa.com

Go with Hondata: You keep the factory ECU, just change the chip...
Call Greg Fodor at Dave's Shell in Bridgeport, CT.
(203) 330-0872
He's a dealer, (not enough sales yet to be 'listed')
Ask for Greg or leave a message for me, Jeff
I tuned his B16A powered CRX to 333 whp, 248 ft/lbs using Hondata and
my Motec PLM.
We don't have a dyno, but I street tuned his car then finished
at the tuning on Pruven's dyno, in 3 hours.
What trim turbo?
What sized injectors?
If you have 46+ trim TO4e and 550cc+ sized injectros, you'll make 300whp,
no problem.
Drop me a note if you have any questions:
